Note: This kit does not provide thermal insulation or maintain cold temperatures. It is designed solely for surface protection, not temperature control.

2" VANSHIELD® UPFIT
2″ Full Height Insulation & Lining Package
Designed for customers who prioritize maximum cargo space, this configuration offers a thinner insulation profile without significantly compromising performance. While it doesn’t match the thermal efficiency of the 3″ insulation model, it still maintains temperatures as low as 38°F, making it a smart option for shorter delivery runs where extreme insulation isn’t critical.
This setup is slightly more expensive due to the additional labor required to accommodate the reduced plywood thickness, but the space-saving benefits and faster turnaround times make it a worthy investment for many operators.

Ideal for customers transporting frozen goods over long distances.
This kit is designed to help maintain freezing temperatures throughout transit. To minimize temperature loss during frequent loading or unloading, we recommend the optional addition of strip curtains at the rear and/or side doors. These help reduce cold air loss when doors are open and exposed to outside temperatures.

5″ Max Freezing Insulation Package
For customers delivering frozen perishables over long distances, maintaining a consistent sub-zero environment is critical to preserving product freshness and quality. The 5″ Max Freezing Insulation Package is engineered for maximum cold retention, allowing your cargo area to maintain interior temperatures at or below 0°F.
With 5 inches of full-height insulation, this package delivers top-tier freezing performance—ideal for ice cream, frozen foods, seafood, and other temperature-sensitive items. To further maintain frigid conditions during frequent door openings, we highly recommend adding strip curtains to rear and/or side doors of cargo vans or truck bodies.
